Allahabad HC disapproved the affidavit filed by the gang rape victim’s mother claiming it to be false

The Allahabad HC with the bench of Justice Shashi Kant Gupta and Pankaj Bhatia on Tuesday had taken the cognizance of alleged detention of the gang rape victim in police station and the bench noted on Tuesday a personal affidavit had also been filed by Smt Kunti, mother of the girl(victim), wherein she stated that the girl in question (victim) has been detained in the police station by police authorities since 16.10.2020 and further stated that the police is not permitting the family members of petitioner to meet the girl. So the court ordered the police to produce the girl in the court.
Later on Wednesday the girl was produced in court and said that the police authorities have never detained her as such the affidavit filed by the victim mother is false to the bench. So the mother of the girl (victim) was reprimanded the mother of gang-rape for falsely alleging the detention of her daughter by local police.
