Allahabad HC dismisses Habeas corpus petition of illegal detention in the Hathras case

On 8th Oct 2020 Allahabad high court has dismissed the-petition filed on behalf of the Hathras victims’ family against decent illicit imprisonment by the UP government
The Supreme Court bench of justices Printinker Diwaker and Prakash had already seized with this matter in Satyama Dubey &Ors v.Union of India &Ors.and therefore, it shall not be acceptable for the High Court to captivate his appeal.
The tribunal has elucidated that if the family has any objections; then they shall, be at sovereignty to file the reasonable requisition before the Supreme Court. It was also alleged that the family was not given custody of the victim’s corpse, and they persisted forcefully confined in their homestead land and continue to stay as such
The family had contended that they were “illegally detained”. Since September 14th, the day the ravishment took place by the authority were restricted from convening anyone on September 29th and 30th. Meanwhile, the letter has been written by UP chief secretary RK Tiwari to the Centre recommending the case to be taken by CBI.
