AP HC reserves judgement on petitions which challenged the YSRCP decisions


The Andhra Pradesh HC on Wednesday reserved judgement on petitions which challenged the YSRCP decisions. The present running party (YSRCP) wants to look into various decisions taken by previous government (TDP).
A single bench of Justice DVSS Somajayulu reserved the judgement on the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) which was filed by a member of TDP and an MLA.
The petitioners submitted that there is no complaint or general loss caused by the previous government and it is unnecessary to have Special Investigation Team (SIT).
Defending the government, Advocate General S Sriram, submitted that the orders were passed on the basis of a complaint. The complaint was filed by the subcommittee of the Cabinet and a direction of the speaker stating that there were several irregularities, manipulations in CRDA land project.
