The Bar Council of Delhi has been rapped by the Delhi high court for not having an online procedure for the enrollment of law graduates in the council.
The case came in when a petition was filed by four law graduates of Bihar seeking an online procedure for the enrollment in the council because it would be difficult for them to appear physically for the exam.
In the same matter, the court gave notice to the Bar Council to reply for the online procedure but due to its failure to have it, the court has given another week’s time to the BCD.
In a similar plea, the BCD had told the court earlier that they have taken a few steps in the matter but there are no such responses seen by the court.
