CEO and CFO of Republic TV filed anticipatory bail applications before the sessions court: fake TRP scam case.

CEO and CFO of ARG outlier media Pvt. ltd (which owns Republic TV & Republic Bharat) filed anticipatory bail application in the sessions court for the fake TRP scam case.
The case came in when Hansa Research Group along with BARC filed an FIR against the malpractices of obtaining fake TRP. The matter was transferred to the crime branch unit, both the applicants who were earlier interrogated by the police said that they were harassed and pressurized in the “semi custodial interrogation” to make false statements against the news channels.
The applicants also added that the Mumbai police’s intention was malice in the case and they demand bail relying on the case of Priya Mukherjee (one of their colleague) who was granted bail by this sessions court.
