Collusive attempt to cover up the crime: Hathras case

In relation to the unfortunate Hathras case, another PIL was represented in the Supreme Court.
An appeal, submitted by the activist Chetan Janardhan Kamble to Vipin Nair, seeks, inter alia, the issuance of instructions concerning the registration of offences in accordance with Sections 166-A, 193, 201, 202, 203, 212, 217, 153-A and 339 of the Indian Penal Code, and the offences against government officials in accordance with Sections 3(2) and 4 of the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Act 1989. Medical College, AMU, Aligarh and Bagala Joint District Hospital, Hathras, government officials and officials involved in evidence-destroying.
