Divan Argued in Supreme Court That Tata Son’s Process of Removal of Cyrus Mistry is against Corporate Democracy

Mr. Shyam Divan argued before the supreme court that the removal of Cyrus Mistry is against the corporate democracy.

Mr. Divan put forward the arguments, relying on the good relationships between Tata sons and the SPG and argued on various aspects.

He put forward corporate governance aspects, rules and regulations for the director of the company and shareholders along with two articles from the AOA and some statutory provisions of the companies act.
Due to the new arguments advanced and a detailed discussion, the court told the counsel to summarize the arguments in the hearing to be heard later.
