Finally “HUMANITARIAN VIRTUES” given more eminence than “TAKING ADVANTAGE of the CHALLENGING TIMES”
23rd September 2020
The Directorate General of Civil Association (DGCA) has today clearly stated that it’s a sine qua non for the airlines to allow full refund on air tickets which were prearranged prior to lockdown, for travel up to May 24, including national as well as international routes. The case will be heard in an advanced manner in the apex court today, before a bench of Justice Ashok Bhushan, R Subhash Reddy, and MR Shah. Further, the credit shell and the incentive scheme that was formulated by the centre are extended to various categories of passengers as categorized by the DGCA. However, there are some exceptions with the foreign carriers and refund of those passengers.
