The Karnataka HC asked Mysore bar association to produce any resolution passed by them to deny legal representation to Nalini Balakumar who was arrested over holding “Free Kashmir” poster at Mysore university campus in the CAA protest.
The court was hearing a plea filed on behalf of Nalini Balakumar, which stated that the Mysore district bar association passed a resolution denying her any legal representation.
Adv. Ramesh Naik. L. argued on behalf of her and said that most of the advocates of Mysore district.
The petitioner seeks appropriate directions to be issued to the respondent and put down politicization of the bar in the case.
