Karnataka HC asks for better rehabilitation scheme to the state government.

The Karnataka High Court with a division bench of Chief Justice Abhayoka and Justice Ashok S Kinagi has asked the state government to come with a better rehabilitation scheme for evicted persons from Kariyammana Agrahara, Devarabeesanahalli, Kundalahalli and Bellandur in Bengaluru, on the pretext that they were immigrants of Bangladesh. Moreover the rehabilitation period scheme is of one year and directs the state government with a better scheme. This was given during hearing of the petition by PUCL challenging that eviction drive of BBMP and police against the alleged Bangladeshi immigrants. Petitioner Clifton Rozaria pointed out about the immigrant families shifted to Jigani. Where the court stated that it is on the state government to take care.
