Karnataka HC questioned state government regarding accumulation of fines from Politicians for not wearing masks

On Thursday, court asked state government that they had imposed any fine on politicians or not, while they were attending rallies. Member of Parliament and Advocate Tejsavi Surya also being the part of political rallies.
A division bench of Chief Justice Abhay Oka and Justice S. Vishwajit Shetty, heard the complaint reported by Letzkit Foundation, as they are following strict rules and regulations of social distancing. MP Tejsavi Surya had spotted at the airport without wearing a mask.
Add on to this advocate, G.R. Mohan filed a memo and attached photographs as a proof against the MP. Through all of these incidents High Court asks state government that ‘Have you collected fines from MP Tejsavi Surya and on contradictory to this, police officers reported that, he had wore the mask. The court will list this case petition on November 9, 2020.
