Madhya Pradesh HC is pleased with the investigation done by the SIT: Honey Trap Scandal

The Madhya Pradesh HC on Saturday heard the petitions for the infamous scandal ‘Honey Trap’ and stated that the investigation done by Special Investigation Team (SIT) was satisfactory and there is no need to handover the case to the Central Bureau Investigation (CBI). The bench comprised of Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Shailendra Shukla issued the notice.
The Honey Trap scandal came into light when the petitioner filed a FIR alleging that he was being blackmailed and a 'Honey Trap' gang is working in the State of Madhya Pradesh which is involved in blackmailing politicians, bureaucrats, businessman etc.
Till now over six people and two women were arrested. The police seized electronic gadgets and recovered videos and audiotapes relating to some high-profile people.
