Suit for restoration of alleged temple complex situated within Qutub Minar premises has been filed in Delhi court

A suit has been filed in the Delhi Saket court saying that the ‘Quwwat-ul-Islam masjid’ in the premises of Qutub Minar was raised after demolishing 27 Hindu & Jain temples.
The plea seeks restoration of all these 27 temples on behalf of the respected deities, the petitioner said that the present building was raised under Mughal emperor Qutub-din-Aibak.
They added that as the temples were not completely destroyed thus, there partial parts are still present and can be seen that most of the architecture is either Hindu or Jain.
The petitioners prayed before the court that all the 27 temples should be restored and the deities be worshipped properly and the government who is currently managing the site must handover it and do not interfere in further necessary procedure.
